Good for a stopover

The pool was a hit with my daughter, but the dinner was disappointing.

The Tartiflette at the restaurant was exquisite and rivaled the best I've had in ski resorts.

The grounds felt a bit unkempt and reminded me of a motel rather than a hotel.

I revisited this Campanile and it kinda surprised me. The room looked standard at first, but the extra pillows and fully tiled walk-in shower caught my attention. They surprisingly provided a toilet brush, often missing at other locations. The workspace had a superior angle-poise lamp, and the bedside lights were bright enough, unlike the usual subdued lighting. The restaurant experience stood out as really good. The staff were plentiful and knowledgeable, offering escargots as a starter presented nicely. The dos de cabillaud was delicious, and their crème brûlée was flambéed at the table, an excellent touch. A downside was the standard Campanile room setup. The cleanliness was undeniable. This Campanile in Beaune stands out for its unique dining experience was good.

The cocktails by the pool were a pleasant surprise, and the garden-facing room offered great beds, a powerful shower, and effective blackout options for a refreshing stay. It's a solid choice for a family stop, especially with the pool being a highlight for the kids.

Despite the picturesque garden view, there were reports of the dining experience falling flat. Meals ranged from average to disappointing, with some dishes, such as the chicken main course, criticized for being tough and overpriced. Breakfast didn't fare much better, with complaints about rubbery eggs and less-than-stellar bacon, leaving some guests feeling that they'd paid too much for their meals. There's room for improvement in the culinary department, given the overall ambiance and expectations from the hotel.

Breakfast fell short of expectations with limited options and less-than-fresh items. The initial presentation of the room felt rather basic, lacking the charm one might hope for. These factors slightly marred an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Recommend for a couple of nights

Clean room, convenient location, with good wi-fi access and free parking on site, making it an excellent base for exploring.

Pleasant Stopover with Excellent Dining

Enjoyed a comfortable night in a well-appointed room. The restaurant surprised me with its very nice Tartiflette, one of the best I've had. Great location just off the A6, it's an ideal choice for travelers, but be mindful of potential morning noise from nearby vineyards.

The location was perfect, just a short drive from the motorway and close to Beaune's charming town with a variety of dining options. The room wassuper clean and cozy. Plus, the accessible parking just outside our door was a bonus!

Good wi-fi, 24-hour security, but the dining experience was a letdown.
